For a solid, reliable, durable dirt jumping and urban fork,
it's hard to go wrong with Marzocchi's Dirt Jumper 1.
The one weaknesses noted in the reviews had been weight.
The old DJ-1 was certainly on the heavy side.

Wisely, the folks of Marzocchi addressed this issue with their 2009 DJ-1.
It's a good bit lighter, like by almost a pound.
That's posting some good numbers. The rest of the fork remains largely the same.
The left leg's R cartridge, adjustable from the bottom, does a great job of dialing in the speed of the extension,
which is just the kind of control you need for dirt jumping. The air preload is great at tuning the suspension.
And the coil spring is the standard for this sort of fork.

The Marzocchi Dirt Jumper 1 fork has 100mm of coil-sprung travel.
The left leg has the R cartridge, for rebound adjustment.
The right leg has an adjustable air preload cartridge. . The steerer tube is made from reinforced aluminum.
The stanchions are aluminum and 32mm in diameter.
The axle-to-crown measurment is 490mm. The axle offset from the crown is 30mm.
The crown offset from the steerer tube is 18mm. The crown width is 170mm.
The front wheel affixes to the fork via a 20mm thru-axle only.
The brake mounting is 6" post mount only with a max rotor size of 8" . . . yep-yep! Yummy!
(though keeping with the needs of DJ, there isn't a hose guide). The legs are Grey with Black stanchions and Black crown.
The weight (w/ axle) is 2450g ( that's approximately 5.4lbs . . . kung tama ang kalkulasyon ko . . . he he he).
